  • The CPHVA Annual Professional Conference Call for Papers is a formal invitation to submit research papers, projects, or best practices for consideration for verbal presentation/ poster display at the upcoming CPHVA Annual Professional Conference 2026 in Bristol.

    Guidance for Submission:

    Please provide a brief description of your Research /Best Practice/ Project topic: (Max 300 words) indicating if you would like your abstract to be considered for verbal or poster presentation.

     

    Your submission title should be less than 20 words. It should clearly demonstrate purpose and content of your submission as this will be used for listing in the programme if you are successful.

     

    To submit an abstract of no more than 300 words to CPHVA@unitetheunion.org  including the information below to with your abstract attached as a word document by 31 August 2026.

     

     

    There will be two types of Presentations:

    1. Verbal Presentations on day 2 of conference

    20-minute seminar session (15 - 20 mins plus Q&A)

     

    2. Visual Presentations

    Academic posters (created as a 16:9 PowerPoint slide) to be displayed at the conference.

     

    Abstracts are independently and anonymously assessed.  Please add your direct contact details at the end of your submission. You will be notified of the outcome of this process within 2 weeks of the submission deadline.
