    Shire Hall Event - 12:00 to 15:00, Saturday 20 July 2025
  • Unite is providing Saturday festival goers to Tolpuddle this year the chance to take part in an off-site event - a trip to Shire Hall Historic Courthouse Museum. FREE entry and Shuttle Bus provided - donate what you can with all proceeds to the museum (please bring some cash if you can).

Thanks to the support of the Unite South West F&GPC and Regional Committee, this event is being provided free of charge, to both Unite and non-Unite members  inclusive of a shuttle bus between Tolpuddle Martyrs Festival and the museum.

    · We ask that you only reserve seats on the bus that you intend to use, as space is limited. Each booking is restricted to a maximum group size of four (larger groups can make more than one booking). Please refrain from reserving more seats than necessary. If you need to cancel your space on the bus, please let us know as soon as you can.

·We plan to leave the festival around 12:00 and return back to the site around 15:30. Timings can be fluid based on traffic conditions and the needs of group, so please plan flexibly.

    · As this is a FREE event, Unite the Union can’t take any responsibility should there be a need to cancel, amend or adjust this activity.

    · If you have any questions about the event, contact Unite Regional Tolpuddle Coordinator, Matt Tipper (matt.tipper@unitetheunion.org) who will be glad to answer any queries.
